This past September I had the pleasure of photographing a Julia and Jordan’s wedding. This was an extra special day for the epagaFOTO family because Julia is Jessica Roark’s younger sister. The entire epagaFOTO team came together to document their gorgeous day at Loch Lloyd Country Club. This day was a long time coming for this couple and it was filled with such joy and love.
Julia and Jordan met at KU where they were both pole vaulters on the track team. So in addition to being incredibly talented athletes, they are also extremely creative. They handcrafted so many details to make their ceremony and reception truly personal. Enjoy.
I love this image of Julia, her sisters and mom.
Jordan is known for his hair designs. What started out as a fun idea for vaulting competitions has turned into Jordan’s signature look. Every design is a little different and usually Julia helps with the creation, but today the groomsmen had it under control. Images by Allyson.

Jessica adds the finishing touches. And I love this image of Julia and her grandmother.
And sweet flowergirl…
I told you they were creative. Jordan and Julia found the old wood for the entry on an abandoned farm. Then Jordan and his dad created the entry and the altar.
Jordan’s dad was his best man. I love the emotion of Jordan’s dad during the ceremony, images by Allyson.
This image makes me smile. I noticed earlier in the day that both Julia and Jordan both make the same face when they are getting emotional…I caught them both doing it during family speeches.
Reception fun! Including the bride’s dad sporting his famous wigs and even grandma got on the dance floor!
Such an amazing day. So happy for this two. Huge thanks to Allyson for helping me capture it all.
